Have resigned in Sep 2012, But not serviced Notice period due to personal problem, but the supervisors in bank has taken this personally and Stopping the Releaving letter formalities. This is effecting my career, now it is 3 years since date of resignation. Now also i am ready to repay the amount in lieu of the Notice Period Days. they are not ready for this also. they are harassing me mentally. I am losing opportunities in market. If any thing happens to my career, bank will be responsible

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank nor a regulator, which may please be noted.

As regards your relieving letter, you should have followed the rules governing the Bank Staff I.e. Tendering resignation and serving the notice period. You will have to pursue the matter with HR for getting the relieving letter. Trust that Bank has not served you voluntary abandonment of duty notice.

Regards

Deepak
