IT Refund amount not received?

Question

I had filed return for assessment year 2008-09 and  my refund amount was 2313 Rs. The problem is I didn't get my refund till now, i too had filed my return for assessment in year 2009-10 and  my refund amount was 4478 Rs. But i didn't get my this refund too. I had deposited the 2008-09 assessment year return copy got the receipt. I had posted the copy of 2009-10

Dear Rachit

For Income Tax refunds, you should take it up with IT authorities and not the Bank/s.  Please write to the IT authorities that even though the assessments have been completed, the refund has not been made into your given bank account.  In the absence of proper and positive response from them, you may complain to IT Ombudsman for appropriate instructions for refunds.
