Bank Settlement?

Name g.heena khouser, 32/21 thiruvallustreetreet, krishnagiri. My personal loan account I genuinely paid but due to recession couldnt pay we spoke with bank for settlement and i cleared the quoted amt. Loan approval in may 2009 and cleared on 16.10.2010. Now bank is harrasing me and not providing me settlement letter. Im depressed

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

If the total amount as per the mutual settlement has been paid by you, the Bank is at fault and not in order in harassing you.  If you have relevant settlement documents and payment receipts, do complain to the management of the Bank.  The details of the Nodal Officer of the Bank, who looks into customer grievances, would be available on their website.  If the response is not to your satisfaction, you may also complain to Banking Ombudsman.  For address of the Office of the Banking Ombudsman, Area of Operation (jurisdiction) and the procedure for lodging complaint, you may access their  website https://bankingombudsman.rbi.org.in/.
