Deducted DP Charges?

I have not open the demat account, but I have found that deducted for Rs 572.50 by 25.02.15 from my Account no is XXXXXXXXXX0920. so i cannot understand how refund the amount. Please confirm me what is reason the deducted amount & how to refund the amount.

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed and managed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

If you have not opened a Demat account, the bank is not in order in levying maintenance charges.  Do handover a written request to your home branch, asking for reversal of the charges.  If the branch is not responding, then email your grievance to their Nodal Officer.  You can find contact details of Nodal Officer on your bank's website. In case you do not get desired response from Nodal Office too, please write to BO. For address of the Office of the Banking Ombudsman, Area of Operation (jurisdiction) and the procedure for lodging complaint, you may access the website https://bankingombudsman.rbi.org.in/.
