I own a bank credit card and its been 5 months. I couldnt pay the bill of last month in the mean time another bill got generated. bank people should understand that we are salaried people and we get the money on 1st of every month. Phone banking executive called me and i told him my due is on 3rd of every month and i will clear it. He said ok and hung up the phone. Today he called me again and harassing me. I was talking to very politely and with his abusive language he made me lose my temper. Dont we people know that we need to pay our bills and is it right to talk to the customers in abusive way. One or two reminders are enough the phone banking people need not call up every day and harasses the customers. The phone banking executive name is G Bhaskar rao. I request to the bank to take immediate action orlese the bank reputation will be in risk in the customers point of view. Please take action against that lunatic.

Dear Jolie

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed and managed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

If you default on your credit card bill payments on time, it is a common practice of the banking industry that the recovery is handed over to agencies.  The ways and means deployed by the recovery agencies is the same, what you have stated above.  Hence, the best course is to pay off the overdue bills forthwith and ensure peace of mind.  Also, would like to caution you that the banks levy hefty late fee and charge high rate of interest on delayed payments.  Further these charges get compounded every month.  Besides, the default would also be reported to CIBIL, which would block your future efforts for any sort of loan from the banks / financial institutions.  Hence, please play safe and pay off the dues.
