Lost my cheque book having one cheque alreasy signed by me?

Sir..i have account with bank of my name.is piyush jadav..and i lost my cheque book..i cant remember when and where i lost it. but today i was seeking for my cheque book.and i came to know this it is lost.and i have signed one cheque.and it was blank. so what should i do?? may be some one misuse of my cheque book..i have emptied. my account. there is a nil balance in my central bank account.

Piyush,

You approach your branch for getting the cheque numbers issued to you by the Bank. Thereafter, keeping aside the cheque already issued, if any, you can request the Bank to make stop payment of the entire series, stating that cheque book is lost. Thereafter, you can request Bank for issuance of a fresh cheque book.
