Fraud Calls from Bank?

Date of incident: 09Oct15 I got a call from bank He claimed to be the employee of Bank and needs to share details about additional benefits available on the card. He claimed to have access to Bank Credit Card database and has my credit card details however I dont have a  Bank Credit Card. He was trying to get my Credit Card details like logo / No. / Password etc. Please look into the matter and resolve the same

Dear Shikha

You never had a credit card, but received a hoax call, seeking the details.  Please note that Banks / Officials would never ask for the confidential account/card/banking details from their customers, which is against their norms and ethics.  There are certain criminal groups, who try to defraud innocent and ignorant people.  It is good that you are aware of such miscreants.  I request to share the incidence with your near and dear also, so that no one falls prey to such cheats.  Govt of India, RBI and many Banks have taken the lead and try to educate the public at large through the media.
