Sir,Kindly guide me what charges your bank will charge on P.P.F.withdrawal.Is it mandatory P.P.F.withdrawal by D.D.?

    At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any query / complaint / grievance in respect of financial services.  This site does not belong to any Bank or a Regulator, which may please be noted.

    As regards your query, I would like to inform you that there are no charges on withdrawal from PPF account. If you are having savings account in the same Bank, you may request the Bank to transfer withdrawal amount to your savings account. If you request for Banker's cheque or Demand Draft for the PPF withdrawal amount then Bank will levy BC/DD issuance charges on the withdrawal amount. Normally, cash withdrawal is not allowed from a PPF account.
