I am one of the pensioners of  bank Bank as retired from service on 31st Oct. 2014. .I came to know that as per the revised All India census 2011 published by the Registrar General and Census commissioner, India, there is a revision of HRA in some of centers. As I was worked at Calicut from August 2011 to October 2014 eligible for the revised HRA and CCA arrears, if any as per the Govt. and  notification from the latest census 2011 for which the copy of  circular is enclosed herewith for your information. In view of this, please make necessary steps to calculate the revised rate HRA/CCA arrears and credit to my SB a/c

Dear Najneshwar

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

Please approach your home branch manager with a written request and the relevant circular for releasing / crediting the HRA/CCA arrears.  If the arrears are still not credited, after lapse of reasonable time, you should be taking up the matter with the Bank's senior management, by visiting their website.  The process is stated here under.

1.    Go to your Bank’s website and search for grievance redressal (or similar name) button and submit your complaint online.

2.    If you do not receive any reply / satisfactory reply within 10 days, lodge your complaint with the Nodal officer of the Bank (either through email or letter)

3.    If you do not receive any reply / satisfactory reply within 10 days from the Nodal officer, lodge your complaint with the Principal Nodal officer of the Bank (either through email or letter)

4.     If you are still not satisfied with the reply / do not receive reply from the Principal Nodal officer within 10 days, lodge your complaint with the Banking Ombudsman (either through letter or email)
