Hi all. I got 4 calls dated 4th Dec to my registered mobile phone the I have to make a payment of 8000rs. To all four calls I have confirmed that the payment wu loud be done in the night tym as I was in between my shift. I tried making the payment last night but unable to do so as it says insufficient funds. The ledgered balance is 24000 but balance shows 0.00. Please explain why this happened when I clearly mentioned that the payment would be done in night. This is ethically wrong as now I can't withdraw any money frm my acc and I am unable to fulfill my living.

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

I assume that there would have been high overdue pending on your credit card and since the payment was not forthcoming, the bank would have marked lien on your savings account.  I suggest that do meet / speak to your home branch head / relationship manager regarding the issue, ensure payment of the minimum amount due and seek removal of lien on your SB account.
