I was trying to make payment for my credit card statement for an amount of Rs 710, but the trasaction was unsuccesful and the amount got debited from my account. I tried to get in touch with Bank customer care executive but in vain. Why don't you provide the numbers of customer care specifically? Please get this resolved on high priority as my last payment date is near and I won't be giving any fines as it is not my fault. Payment Gateway Ref

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

Since the amount is small, you may pay it off and then take up separately with the bank regarding refund of the earlier failed transaction.  There is a possibility that the amount would have been transferred to the credit card, even if the transaction supposedly failed, since your account is debited.  Please check the factual status and take it up accordingly.
