Regarding the negligence of the bank customer service?

My name is P.Jyothi holding your bank a/c ends with 130*****1048, and credit card. I recently got a call from the bank regarding the personal loan. Even though I am not interested to take the loan I convinced to take bcoz of no processing fee and less interest. Immediately with n two days of time I got the amount. They charged processing fee, interest and also service tax. I was ok with that so I continued to pay monthly installments. Actually I don’t know how to pay the loan amount so for the first time I paid through IVR (via mobile) and I ask the customer care executive to activate the auto debit option. So By 22 nd of every month I need to pay the installment, so I have deposited 20000 rs in my savings account before 22nd only. But they dint debit the amount, moreover they charged 500 late fee, interest 908, st 131 and again st 72 /- .when I got to know the news immediately I paid the amount by 30th. For just 8 days should I need to bear it for their negligence activity?I cannot bear it so I just want to close all my accounts and want to continue with other bank.

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed and managed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

The auto debit instructions should have been given to the branch officials, well in advance and under proper acknowledgement.  Such debit authorizations are not accepted over phone for security reasons.  One should be extremely careful regarding loan and credit card payments, and any small delay would attract late fee, high interest and ST.  However, please do get in touch with the relative loan officials or the branch manager and request for waiver and reversal of the charges.
