Incorrect Interest and delay charges on Credit card?

It is with reference to My Bank credit card number XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX0001 that I started using my card in April'15. Tried following up with customer care center to get the statement. But it was on 18th June'15, that I received the statement, in which the interest was already charged. I tried to get the waiver as there was no fault from my side about delay in payment, as bank neither sent me statement by courier nor by mail. I foolwed up with customer care executive like anything. Eventually I made the payment of transactions done, after one executive confirmed to me that interest would be waived off. Till 18th June'15, I did not received a mail nor the hard copy and to my shock on 18th June the statement that was generated had a interest amount of Rs 1042/-. I cleared off the dues against principal, but bank never resolved the issue of interest charges and now the whole amount has been accumulated to 6400/- for which bank is harrassing me by directly deducting from my savings account, freezing my savings account. It's really not expected from bank like you

This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

Credit Card agreements with the issuing banks are very stringent regarding late payment fees, interest, taxes etc.  Once the charges are levied due to delay, seldom the same are waived / reversed.  However, do request the credit card issuing bank to waive and reverse the charges, since you were neither in receipt of the bill nor mobile SMS.  Bank might consider.
