Fake note from bank atm?

Today on 22/3/2016 i withdrew an amount of Rs 400/- from bank atm in Begur road Bangalore. The ATM id is ATM P1DCBU28 Txn# 1194. Among the 100 rs notes one of them is a counterfeited one. The atm even failed to print the receipt, but i have the transaction details in SMS and Internet Banking online pass book. I never expected that a reputed bank ATM will feed with fake currencies. The Serial no printed on the note are uneven size and the paper quality of the note is not crispy but greasy (like magazine paper).

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed and managed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

Please approach your home branch and bring the issue to the notice of the branch manager and request for redressal.  The branch manager would ensure resolution of your problem.  However, you should be proving the genuineness of your ATM withdrawal.
