Branch Manager refuse to open an account?

Dear sir Myself Suvasish Mantry from Govindpu Sir From 15 days i go to bank for open a account but always they refuse to open the acc and after asking the reason branch manager told me we have lack of staff in our branch plz come next week.And when we go next they repeat the same.

A bank can not refuse to open an account, excepting in the absence of required / necessary documentary proof from the prospect.  If you are able to provide both the ID and address proof, the bank would certainly open an account for you.  If you feel that the bank branch is not responding to your request, you may take up the matter with their management, as per the following process.

1.    Go to your Bank’s website and search for grievance redressal (or similar name) button and submit your complaint online.

2.    If you do not receive any reply / satisfactory reply within 10 days, lodge your complaint with the Nodal officer of the Bank (either through email or letter)

3.    If you do not receive any reply / satisfactory reply within 10 days from the Nodal officer, lodge your complaint with the Principal Nodal officer of the Bank (either through email or letter)

4.     If you are still not satisfied with the reply / do not receive reply from the Principal Nodal officer within 10 days, lodge your complaint with the Banking Ombudsman (either through letter or email)
