DP Charges Please help me I want to close my Account?

My bank transactions shows one debit transactioncreation that Demat account is free of cost, and were not told about any DP charges. Also, I did not get any message alert in my mobile which is registered with mobile banking with 

Please refund my amount and close/deactivate my demat account.

Dear Neepa

Certain banks open linked accounts, especially for corporate salary relations.  This could be one such instance.  If the DP account was supposed to come free of cost as per the understanding between your employer and the Bank, the charges can not be debited, unless they are towards certain transactions, you might have carried.  I understand from you query that probably the account was just opened and there were no transactions.  You need to write / mail to ICICI Bank for reversal of the charges and closure of the Dmat account and await their response.
