Bank Manager is abusing us.?

Hello,i am living sahnewal, ludhiana punjab, in pnb sahnewal manager is abusing me, because i take education loan from bank since april, loan amt. 5,55,000, i gave FDR Rs.6,00,000 for security to him, he sentioned the loan and he gave me Rs.50000 only ,he is saying , i cannot give balance amt. I told you please give me loan amt. Or give me my FDR. He is saying i cannot both amt. to you. I took loan and deposit Fdr for go to canada for my sister HARDEEP KAUR. She was gone to abord. I am going to Bank since april, he is telling nothing, he is trying to make me fool. Please i need you help

    At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any query / complaint / grievance in respect of financial services.  This site does not belong to any Bank or a Regulator, which may please be noted.

    On going through your mail, it is not clear whether you have availed Education loan under Bank scheme or it is a loan against Fixed Deposit for Education purpose. In any case, if the sanctioned amount is Rs 5.5 lacs, you are eligible for the remaining amount of loan. If the loan is under Education loan scheme of the Bank, you will have to produce demand letter from Canadian University to enable Bank to remit funds. If it is loan against FDR, no such documents are required for release of the amount. Since the behaviour of the Manager is unusual, you may escalate the entire issue to the nodal officer - grievances whose coordinates (contact) are available on the Bank's website. If your complain is not resolved by the nodal officer within a reasonable period, you may approach Banking Ombudsman for resolution.
