Fraud case against Credit card of bank?

I am Vidhi Tikoo, holding an account bank, A/c no also I am using Credit card of your bank I have received call on 6th October ’15 stating that they are calling from bank  and I have few points which needs to be redeemed, I replied with ok do that as my all the details are with you, I haven’t provided any information to them as they were carrying my details . After few seconds I have received sms of Rs 5000 and Rs 2000 these both transactions were done from my account and these were done in Mumbai, as I was in Jammu and never been there in Mumbai. I have logged an FIR in Crime cell on 9th and when I have received my bill. Now bank has put the late payment charges on this amount as well. Actual amount is 7000 along with late payment charges. And i have mailed to their higher authorities as well but i am getting the same response that i have called them and shared my detail with hackers .. which is nonsense. i have called customer case as well, , , contacted bank as well.. but getting the same response with rued behavior.

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

It seems you fell prey to the vishing calls by the fraudsters.  In ignorance, you might have divulged your confidential card credentials, due to which the fraudsters might have made the two payments/purchases.  Do complain to your card issuing bank in writing, so that they can investigate the matter, while pursuing the FIR lodged by you.  Please note that the bankers would never seek their customer details.  Please be careful in future.
