EXCESS CR IN SB My Home branch is deducting my money when I am depositing cash via my debit card or Cash deposit Slip and sending me messages EXCESS CR IN SB per deposit Deducting of Rs 57/- Please Solve my problem as soon as possible and, I hope that my all deducted money should returned back to my Account.

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

Please meet up with your home / nearby branch officials to understand the scheme of the account that is with the Bank.  Certain banks levy charges if cash is deposited at a remote branch.  Post getting a clarification on the nature of the charges and if you assume them to be levied wrongly, take it up in writing with your bank branch.  If the branch response is not proper and to your satisfaction, you may choose to complain to the Nodal Officer, who looks into the grievances of the customers.  You can find contact details of Nodal Officer on your bank's website. In case you do not get desired response, please do not hesitate to write to BO. For address of the Office of the Banking Ombudsman, Area of Operation (jurisdiction) and the procedure for lodging complaint, you may access the website https://bankingombudsman.rbi.org.in/.
