Insurance renewal?

My insurance will be lapse on 31st December. I have taken insurance for my husband and myself, recently my husband expired, i have approached bank manager to pay the insurance renewal for my self, its almost passed 20 days, still they are blank and no response, insurance term will be lapse on 31st Dec'2015 Need your kind support . Name Usha Bhaskar

Dear Usha

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

The Bank has to act upon your instructions for payment of insurance premium, unless there is some freeze on your savings account for any reason.  Since you don't have much time, as the last date is supposedly 31st Dec, please meet up with the branch manager and insist for immediate renewal.  If there is any substantiating reason for the bank not to pay the premium for renewal of your insurance, the best way is to pay it from your sources and then take up Bank's non-compliance later on, by complaining to their senior management.  Firstly, get your insurance renewed without further delay.
