My credit card payment of only Rs.2900/- is overdue. I have informed over the phone that I will pay in the next week but still I am getting over 20-30 phone calls per day from recovery dept and the female caller Ms Manisha talked in very rude manner literally insulting me. She even sent the person to my office asking me to pay money immediately.

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed and managed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

Unless the credit card payment is very long overdue, the banks would not resort to such harsh methods of calling so many times and sending person to office.  The amount is not very high and it would be better to pay off and avoid the stated insults.  The recovery method adopted by all the banks for credit card dues is the same.
