I want to cancel my SBI Credit Card?

I want to cancel my credit card. While i am trying to contact csutomer care, i am not getting desired result. Could you please let me know the process, how to cancel my credit card.

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

Unlike a lost card which can be blocked by contacting phone banking/call centre of  the bank concerned or sending SMS to specified number and in prescribed format,  the procedure for cancellation of the card may be slightly different. I suppose you have unpaid dues on the card and you don't have any issues concerning the card.

In order to sort out the issues and also if you are certain about surrendering the card, I would suggest you to visit your bank branch from where you had secured the credit card.
