Self attest PAN card xerox refused to returned by bank though I didn't get the facility I applied for?

My name is Shahjad Hussain:an account holder (Uppar Bazar Ranchi Branch) A/c No.- xxxxxxxxxx3006  On 02 Nov 2015 I applied for Mobile Banking And Internet Banking facility to my account. But since I didn't have ATM card, I deprived of the above two facility, as told by the bank employee.Then I demanded for the self attested PAN card xerox document submitted for the purpose along with the application form .But the bank refused to return me back saying-"It's Bank Policy, once document comes to bank it can't be returned back whether the work is done or not for which the document submitted. Therefore, it is a kind request to you to return back my document or else destroy it in front of my presence if can't be return back .Or I need the explanation of that Bank Policy. Thanking You Shahjad Hussain .

Dear Shahjad

I think, you should not be worrying much for a photocopy of the PAN. Other way, you should be demanding as to why an ATM / Debit Card is not being given to you.  I trust, your account with the Bank is a normal savings bank account, which comes with all the inbuilt facilities, including internet banking.  Speak to the senior bank officials of the branch and seek reasons for not providing an ATM card to you.
