DP charges fraud?

I got to know that bank has deducted 684 rupees under some DP CHGS TILL OCT-15.
I don’t have any demat account with bank. In past also u people deducted such amount 3 times.
I have already submitted all the required document to close this activity and refund the amount.
Still this is happening. Please refund my unnecessary deducted money.

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

You have mentioned that you don't have any demat account. You have also stated that you have submitted required documents to your bank to close the activity. By 'activity' I presume that you have meant 'recovery of charges from your account' even though you don't have any demat account ?

Why don't you just visit your branch and meet with the branch manager to sort out the issue once and for all. Once you can establish that you don't have any demat account with the bank there can be no reason for not refunding the charges already debited but also delink such account from your savings bank account to avoid further debits towards DP charges .

Alternatively, you can write to the Nodal Officer of your bank through email or letter, providing all relevant information. I am sure this would result in resolution of your complaint. You can find out the details of the Nodal Officer from the bank’s website.
