Hi, There was some mistake in my CIBIL account against PAN no Some bank credit card with dues of 3lac was indicated in my CIBIL score due to which my cIBIL score became poor. I already discussed the matter and sorted out with bank that the card doesn't belongs to me and bank credit card team agreed on that. They have updated me over phone through their Fraud Investigation Officer Mr. J P Sondreya that they have updated and removed the concerned Credit card from my account. But still my CIBIL score is same and has not been updated. Kindly check the status and update my CIBIL score. My communication with Investigation officer took place on 21st Nov 2015. Please do the need full.

Dear Arpit,

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

You have already got the processes for the repair completed by your bank. Still, if the factual position is not reflecting in your CIBIL records, I would suggest you to obtain relevant records or a letter from your bank addressed to CIBIL and thereafter directly take up with CIBIL for doing the needful.

If the bank refuses to oblige you, you may escalate the matter to the Banking Ombudsman for resolution. While writing to the BO, please provide complete details and also enclose copies of the communications exchanged with the bank .
