My mother had fixed deposit receipt in your bank and she died on 16/12/2015 so I am his son and myself aproch to bank for clam his fixed deposit amount get me back all amount due to a/c but the branch manager not giving proper help to me Anil Barve Police Sub Inspector Mumbai Railway

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

Death claims are settled by Banks in favour of nominee and if no one is nominated, then to the legal heirs upon completion of required formalities or on the strength of 'succession certificate'.  If you were not mentioned as nominee in your mother's FD, then speak to the bank officials for the process of claiming the same, being a legal heir.
