Fraud Transaction Through Credit Card?

This is to inform you that someone has used my credit card fraudulently on 04-02-2016 at 06:43 pm & made a payment of rs 4981/- at VODAFONE BILL DESK.
This is a humble request to cancel the fraud transaction of rs 4981/- & refund the amount ASAP.
sir, a call received yesterday at 6.22 pm asking my Bank Credit Card details like card no., date of expiry etc stating that he is calling from bank credit Card section for exchanging rewards points to be credited to my account and rs.4981/- was debited to my bank card no.xxxx xxxx xxxx 8016. Kindly stop the transaction and do not remit the amount to the person.

At the outset please note that this site is managed by a group of Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers to raise any complain/query in respect of financial services and to advise them suitably for resolution. This site does not belong to any Bank nor a regulator and we can not take up your case directly with your Bank.

When you are coming across of such type of case regularly in the newspaper, why did you furnish the details of your Credit card. Please lodge an FIR with the Police in the matter and contact your Bank through Toll free number instructing to suspend your Credit card immediately.  Also submit a written application (or through email) to the Credit card department of the Bank seeking refund of the amount and hope for the best.
