I was making a debit card payment of Rs.1015/- for my AIIMS 2016 form. After completing the whole procedure it showed : "Due to technical problems we need to close this session. We regret the inconvenience." But right after the above error, I got the message on my mobile showing that the money has been debited from my account. And the AIIMS page shows that the payment is still pending. What should I do now??

Dear Shubhangani

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed and managed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

It is possible that the amount must have been credited to AIIMS, notwithstanding the error.  Please check up from AIIMS, whether they received the fee payment done by you.  If not, then you need to check it out from your bank, as to why the amount was debited, when AIIMS was not in receipt of the funds?  If Bank confirms that the amount was remitted to AIIMS, then do obtain a letter / communication to that extent and submit the same to the institution.  Slightly laborious, but given that fact that the amount is towards AIIMS form, need to undertake the exercise.
