I have made transaction of Rs.1000/- for payment of Examination Fee for MBBS Entrance Exam if All India Institute of Medical Sciences on 27.02.2016. The Amount was not credited to AIIMS Account. Therefore, I again paid Rs.1000/- on 27.02.2016. The earlier transaction amount has not credited to my account till date.

Hi Mithi,

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

As regards the issue in question, I suggest you to seek help from your home branch to ascertain the actual beneficiary and the transaction reference number in respect of your first remittance of Rs.1000/- on the 27th February. If the amount was credited to the intended account of AIIMS, you have to claim the amount from them providing the reference number obtained the bank.

If the amount was not credited to AIIMS and there was no unintended error from your end while processing the transaction, the amount may be lying with the bank's suspense account pending reconciliation. In this case also your home branch would be able to get the amount refunded to you.

In case your home branch is unhelpful you may write to customer service department of the bank contact details in respect of which  can be found on the bank's website.

Regards
