I had the worst ever experience with  (Both credit and SB department). I had a credit card with 41000 credit limit. I was not able to make payments for some days. So I got penalty and I have been paying penalties in my tenure. Last month or before I transferred 38000 to the credit card. Then the outstanding became 10, 700.00(Not exact figure).. Because of non payment, it showed Lien balance in my account 10, 700.00. from 14-07-2015. So last Saturday (21 Aug 2015) I transferred 10800 rupees to my account. Now the Lien balance is cleared and showing 200 Rs as balance. What I wanted to know was what happened to my credit card Outstanding? To know about this I called customer care I wish my enemy could get that bad experience. You know what happened. The call landed in account. after knowing about the issue, they said they cant answer so they transfer the cal to Credit card dept. Then after listening to everything, they said they cant answer so they transfer the cal to dept. This was happening for 4 times and nobody was able to sort this issue.  After a day struggle finally they told a new thing, this issue cant be sorted out over the phone with customer service, you need to contact your home branch I called my home branch, you know what they said. " The payment has been received on Saturday and its credited to Lien balance because of non-payment of credit card." I asked when this amount will be set off against my credit card.? She asked me to contact customer service(???!???@@@). My god...Again.. Then she again gave a number from bank credit car dept, I asked that person also and told the same thing, he asked me to contact Main branch If I call that number, nobody picks the call. Excellent service from I loved it.

Hi Subramanian,

No doubt it is a harrowing experience. Forward your mail to the Customer Service cell and Credit card grievance cell of Axis Bank. Demand for an explanation. If you do not receive any reply / satisfactory reply within 7 days, you may lodge a complaint with the Banking Ombudsman through email.
