Respected sir, i am not customer of your bank of Hyderabad my name is Viral Chauhan after that i have received transaction SMS continuously that why i am getting irate ...i have already complain in your customer care & nodal officer but still i have getting the same SMS of payment withdrawal or payment deposit ...my mobile number so kindly help to remove my number from your data base... Regards, Viral Chauhan

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

I understand that you do not hold account with the particular bank but you continuously receive transaction alerts on your mobile. The reason for this anomaly could be that the actual account holder of the bank would have surrendered his mobile number registered with them but failed to intimate the same. The same number would have been given to you by your telecom service provider. It is neither your fault not the service provider's. 

Your irritation is understandable. Your bank has been insensitive not to have addressed your concern on bringing the issue to their notice is regrettable. To get a speedy resolution, I suggest you to lodge a complaint, narrating the issue, with the Nodal Officer of  the bank from whom you are receiving SMS alerts. You can complain by email or letter. You can find email and office address of the Nodal Officer on the bank’s website.  

Wait for 15 days. If you don’t receive a response from the Nodal Officer to your satisfaction  you can approach the Banking Ombudsman for resolution of your grievance. For address of the Office of the Banking Ombudsman, Area of Operation (jurisdiction) and the procedure for lodging complaint, you may access the website https://bankingombudsman.rbi.org.in/
