Cash deposit machine transaction cancelled?

I had deposited Rs. 14000.00 in my account on 29-12-2015 at 8:35 P.M. through cash deposit machine at Gandhi Nagar ATM. However after accepting the money machine showed "transaction cancelled" and confiscated the currency notes. Neither I received any receipt nor any sms for the cancelled transaction.

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

Please meet up with your home branch officials forthwith and give them a written complaint regarding the incident, duly requesting for crediting the amount to your account.  It must be a rare occurrence due to some freak technical glitch.  The bank officials would check their CDM and revert to your regarding the status.
