Confirmation of payment (Reference number is not received) when paid collect.?

I have paid my fee(Rs 17617.8/-) on-line through your bank collect .money transaction done from your bank on-line banking. there is a confirmation from your bank that transaction is successful . Now i am unable to verify where the money was, since when i want to branches and enquired there they told that bank collect is not related to bank affairs, it is completely online . i have tried in another way by calling to customer care they also said the same thing that it should be dealt in online. so please contact and confirm me about my fee payment through bank collect .

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

What the bank has stated is correct. The bank would have been able to provide transaction details had the amount been transferred from your account to the beneficiary. In your case the bank's payment gateway was used for transfer of funds. You would have made the payment to a specific beneficiary. The payment being successful, for confirmation of receipt you have to take up with the beneficiary of the credit.
