Regarding charges deduction from savings a/c?

I have an account in your bank yamunanagar branch wide account no. XXXXXXXXXXX9765. It was a preferred account. I was using this account from last 5 years. On 26 feb 2016 bank deducted 572 rs amc deposetory charges from my account now their customer care executive told my the amount has been deducted because of minimum account balance was not maintained.I have not received any intimation regarding change of bank rules fro my account this is bank responsibility to give prior information about any changes. It is requested you kindly refund my deducted balance and change my a/c to zero balance account.Otherwise i'll close my all accounts and all fix deposits from your bank.
Please do the needful.

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed and managed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

Need more information to suggest / guide appropriately.  Was it a Salary Account?  If not, was it a special product, wherein the Dmat account was given as a supplement,  without any AMC charges?  Was it a 'zero' average balance account earlier?  After 5 years, why suddenly the bank said that you did not maintain the required average balance?
