Respected Sir / Madam. am holding corporate salary account since 2004 with your bank along with your bank credit card, in late 2015 "Sept to December" had done few transaction and requested Tele Banker to convert entire amount to 9 months EMI, where later-on i was told that only partial amount was converted into EMI, and i was under impression that my request has been full filled but that was not the case and was penalized with several charges of 24, 000 and all of sudden started getting calls from your bank recovery agent and other collection team. Had several round of discussion including Service assurance team and Priority address Mr. Nitin Pimplekar and others tried putting my concern but till date no luck. I could able to restore the call recording actual request which was placed in September but bank doesn't have any system where i can upload those file. Now the situation, bank has frozen my salary account, where have monthly EMI payment scheduled for other vendors as well RD accounts etc. This is really shocking and diss-appointing.

Dear Kunal

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed and managed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

Usage of credit card and especially delayed or non-payment of the relative bills have major financial and horrible harassment implications.  Credit Card spends are converted into EMIs, but only selective amounts, that too at specific requests.  Having requested the bank for conversion to EMIs, you should have checked the status, especially since your request / interaction was with a tele-banking person, who is not authorized for such approvals, excepting for recording such requests.  I also assume that you never really looked into your credit card account statement, else you would have come to known about the high charges, interest, taxes etc being levied on your unpaid balances. The bank is within their right in freezing your operations / account.  The only way out is to get in touch with  your home branch / credit card officials in person and thrash out the issue amicably.
