We have already given complaint to your bank Mayur Vihar PH-1 Branch about the following fraud withdrawals. Please take up the matter with concerned department of  bank Although we know that we cannot take this amount back still requesting to find out how this happed while ATM card is with us only.

Hello Ajay,

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

What I understand is that ATM withdrawals from your account have happened elsewhere even as the ATM card was in your possession. This is a typical case of card skimming fraud. The bank cannot disown liability to compensate you for the loss.

You have to lodge a police complaint/FIR  and lodge a claim with your bank. An acknowledged  copy of the police complaint/FIR should be submitted to the bank along with your complaint and claim. Allow reasonable time to your bank for investigation. If the bank fails to restore funds to your account within 30 days of your complaint, escalate the matter to the Banking Ombudsman. In your representation to BO narrate the facts and also enclose copy of FIR. I am sure the BO would intervene and ensure justice is done to you.

For address of the Office of the Banking Ombudsman, Area of Operation (jurisdiction) and the procedure for lodging complaint, you may access the website https://bankingombudsman.rbi.org.in/

Regards
