Cr.Card bill issued to me while that card not being owned by me?

Credit card issued a bill on my name, while that card is not being with me never .
I contacted to local branch where they said they have forwarded my case where they will take out information that this card is issued when, which courier company delivered at which address and who received ? But after 10 days follow up they did not give me single information . Some how I paid bill on 12th march via net banking . Now I need details of above all information and my money should also be refunded to me .

Dear Ashish,

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

If you what you claim to be correct, that is, you have been billed for card issued in your name which you had never applied for, it would appear  that  someone had got the card misusing your personal documents. This will be a case of impersonation. If this is true, the liability arising out of the use of the credit card would not fall on you. 

I wonder why you made the payment if you have not applied for the card. This act of yours sends confusing signals with regard to your claim of non receipt and use of the card. If you are certain that you have neither applied for credit card nor received the same, the ideal course is to lodge a police complaint against the bank for issuing the card to an impersonator. 

You must pursue the matter to its logical end. You may take up the issue with Nodal Officer of the Bank for immediate resolution. You should categorically inform that if the complaint is not resolved by cancelling the card and refunding the amount paid, you would register a police complaint and also write to Banking Ombudsman. 

If you don't get a satisfactory resolution within 30 days of your complaint, you must write to the Banking Ombudsman providing complete details and enclosing copies of correspondence exchanged with the bank. I am sure you will get a favourable decision.
