Dear Naveen,

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

Please visit your bank branch to ascertain the reasons for deduction of the amount and if the same has been done in violation of  the terms and conditions including without giving prior notice about revision of charges etc, you can lodge a complaint then and there in the register required to be maintained at the branch in terms of RBI guidelines.

If you are not satisfied with the bank's response, 30 days after lodging the complaint you can write to the Banking Ombudsman for resolution.
