Sir,
i am having 3 accounts in your esteem bank at your bank extension counter shimla, where i m using current, saving and limit account. everyday i face one or other problem from the cashier of the branch who either complaint of fake notes which otherwise are not or keep us standing in que and entertaining his known clients and relatives.
sir, either this person should be replaced or i will withdraw all my accounts from the branch

Dear Asalam,

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

This site is designed and managed for providing guidance to service related issues. The issue raised by you appears to be behavioral. Nonetheless, as a first step I would suggest you to bring the issue to the branch manager. If he does not pay attention, please ask for Complaint Register which every branch of every bank is mandated to maintain under RBI/Bank's internal guidelines. Please record your grievance in the complaint register and demand a copy of it which the branch is bound to provide.

Take it from me, if a complaint is recorded in the register, the branch will have not option but to act on the same including sending a copy to their controlling office. The very act of registering  your complaint in the complaint register itself will have positive effect on the behaviour of not only the official named by you but also other officials also towards you.

In case, you don't find any change and the alleged harassment and indifference continues, you may write to  Nodal Officer of your bank, narrating the entire sequence including the various actions taken by you and also citing specific instances of harassment. Contact details of Nodal Officer can be found on the bank's website.

I am confident that if you follow the suggested procedures, your grievance will surely get addressed.
