Hi Manisha,

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

Firstly I regret the delay in responding your mail. I can understand your anxiety. In order to get a quick and meaningful response, I suggest you to write to Nodal Officer your bank through email or surface mail. I trust you have saved the transaction acknowledgement slip generated at the end of the transaction cycle. This would contain all details like card number, amount paid, transaction ID etc. If you have saved this, you can attach the same to your mail to the Nodal Officer.

I am unable to figure out the mode of payment. Have you paid through debit card or credit card or mobile banking or internet banking. If you have paid through debit card, your account would have been debited instantly. The relevant transaction details can be furnished to the NO. In case you have paid through another credit card, get details of the relevant transaction from the card issuer and provide the same to the NO. In case you have paid through Internet banking then also, the transaction would be reflecting in your account . You can extract the relevant details and provide to NO.

I am sure your payment would be accounted for if not already done and a confirmation would come from the NO. Contact details of NO can be found on your bank's website.

In case you don't receive any satisfactory or no response from the Nodal Officer, you may take up with the Banking Ombudsman for resolution. While writing to the BO, please provide complete details and also enclose the communications exchanged with the bank.

For address of the Office of the Banking Ombudsman, Area of Operation (jurisdiction) and the procedure for lodging complaint, you may access the website https://bankingombudsman.rbi.org.in/

Regards
