Hi, For the month of Aug 2015, I have been billed with the amount 6772 rs where the minimum due was 4161 in my credit card. I have made the payment of 5200 before the due date 10th Sep with the balance of 1672 and haven't make any purchase for the month of Sep. But in the current month, bill of Sep 2015 billed on 23rd Sep, I have been charged with fin charge on retail of rs.371 and GST of 91. It seems like for delay of payment 1672 for just 12 days costs me rs.462. Really fed up with the charges applied by card in every month unnecessarily. I am using credit card and never been charged a huge amount of tax or fin charge. Kindly do needful.

Hi Arun,

You have to be careful about Credit card bill payment. If non-payment of the full amount attracts penalty as per your Bank's terms & conditions, to which you had agreed, the Bank is justified in applying the charges. However, I advise you to please take up the issue through email with the Credit card grievance cell and the Nodal officer of your Bank (visit the Website of your Bank). If you were paying the full amount regularly in the past and have never been penalised, also mention this fact in your complaint for their one time consideration.
