Hi Raghavraov,

This is a serious issue. Please contact the Bank through their toll free number. If not successful, contact any branch / your home branch to register your complaint immediately and to make your Credit card inactive. In the mean time, also please arrange to lodge an FIR with the Police.

If you are not receiving any positive response from the Bank within 1 hour,

Please follow the below steps :-

1.    Go to your Bank’s website and search for grievance redressal (or similar name) button and submit your complaint online.

2.    If you do not receive any reply / satisfactory reply within 10 days, lodge your complaint with the Nodal officer of the Bank (either through email or letter)

3.    If you do not receive any reply / satisfactory reply within 10 days from the Nodal officer, lodge your complaint with the Principal Nodal officer of the Bank (either through email or letter)

4.     If you are still not satisfied with the reply / do not receive reply from the Principal Nodal officer within 10 days, lodge your complaint with the Banking Ombudsman (either through letter or email)

As regards fraudulent transactions on your credit card, some one has captured details from the magnetic strip when you used card at the merchant. In case, you are not able to access the Call Centre numbers, you may escalate the matter to nodal officer - grievances whose coordinates would be available on the website. You may also notify the same on the following day to the nearest branch of the Bank and keep acknowledgement on record.

If you do not get satisfactory response from the Bank, you may take up the issue with Banking Ombudsman whose coordinates would be available on the Bank's/RBI website.

As a last resort, you have the option of approaching Consumer Redressal Forum for resolution.

Thanks and regards

Deepak
